One of the things I've noticed is that inspiration really is a storm! It comes on suddenly and leaves a calm in its wake, sadly that calm means after you've had your huge inspiration burst (Like starting a story!) you tend to hit a wall. A Big one. I Hit my inspiration suddenly seeing other's deviations, then went on a rampage making eyes of animals and people, trying to slowly expand the deviations so i can eventually have a whole animal or person, but sadly I've hit a sudden roadblock. Ah, the shavings of a sharpened pencil, we've all been captivated by their perfection at one time of another... But why? I feel like its because, of all things something so mundane can have so many meanings, the artificial perfection we humans strive for, or how we break away at ideas as they become perfected.. Or even how you feel, perfectly shaved away to everyone else's idea of what is socially acceptable and normal. Look at the little things around you! For they all, even mundane pencil shavings, are able to inspire greater thoughts.
